Hi Keerthana,

I assume you are referring to S4 HANA Cloud, public edition.
In S4 HANA Cloud public edition, there are currently no built-in ways to send events to a Solace PubSub+ broker.
You will be able to connect S4 HANA Cloud to an Advanced Event Mesh broker (AEM) (which is based on Solace PubSub+ Cloud) to send notification events as listed on:

> **[SAP Business Accelerator Hub](https://api.sap.com/products/SAPS4HANACloud/events/events)**
>
> SAP Business Accelerator Hub - Explore, discover and consume APIs, pre-packaged Integrations, Business Services and sample apps

Or you can use extended events using the RAP framework starting with the next release (I believe this is scheduled Q1 2024).
In the meantime you may be able to send those events to SAP Event Mesh and forward them to other brokers from there (e.g. using the in-built webhook or by using a Cloud Integration flow).
Best regards,

Christian

Hi Keerthana,

Yes, it’s possible to connect Solace PubSub+ with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, but not directly in most cases. The typical approach is to use SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite as a bridge. Event Mesh can capture events from S/4HANA Cloud (for example, business object changes or custom events) and then forward them to Solace through webhooks or integration flows.

If you’re using the public edition, the native connection is limited to SAP-managed event brokers like Advanced Event Mesh (AEM), which is based on Solace technology. You can configure this setup to publish events that Solace PubSub+ can consume.

I’ve seen similar setups explained in Pass4Future integration discussions, where Event Mesh acts as the middle layer for routing events between S/4HANA Cloud and external brokers like Solace. It’s a practical workaround until SAP adds more direct support in future releases.

Let me know If thats helps you.
