Event Portal Now Supports Web Proxies!

Hi all,

:megaphone: We’re excited to announce that the Event Management Agent (EMA) now supports web proxies, enabling customers with strict security requirements to connect their event brokers to Event Portal through corporate proxies.

:star: It is available for both:

  • Cloud event brokers in private or dedicated regions: Event Portal automatically consumes the web proxy configurations
  • Self-managed event brokers: users need to configure their self-managed Event Management Agents with their web proxy settings

Hello all,

Just to add, for those using Squid Proxy, you would need to explicitly add port acl for 55443. By default, Squid doesn’t allow non standard ports so there need to be an explicit entry for this.
