We are currently working within the landscape to enable integration between SAP BTP AEM and Kafka using Kafka Connect. The customer has chosen to use Kafka Connect instead of native bridging.
We have shared relevant Solace documentation explaining how to establish direct connectivity between SAP BTP AEM and Kafka (i.e., SAP BTP AEM → Kafka Connect → Kafka) .

However, according to customer governance policies, all inbound connections from external systems to the customer’s on-premise landscape must pass through the SAP Cloud Connector. Therefore, we would like to check with you if it is technically feasible to route the integration flow via the Cloud Connector instead (i.e., SAP BTP AEM → SAP Cloud Connector → Kafka Connect → Kafka). Could you please update at the earliest possi ble?
